Barrister & Mann Muire Wood fragrance is inspired by the story of John Muir, after whom the famous Muir Woods National Park is named. John Muir loved nature so much that he fought for decades to preserve it. he founded the Sierra Club and established national parks in the Yosemite and Sequoia forests that inspired the preservation of other natural wonders across the United States.
In keeping with Mr Muir's love of forests, Barrister & Mann tried to capture the gloomy twilight of the forest and its colors of purple, green and blue. Blackberries seemed a perfect choice to combine with the resin of balsamic fir jam, and the combination of oakmoss and vetiver to give the fragrance a moist aroma of forest wood.
